Terms & Conditions
My goal is to provide every client with a thoughtful, professional, and enjoyable astrology experience. These Terms & Conditions are intended to ensure clear expectations while allowing us to work together with mutual respect, understanding, and good faith. Astrology is most valuable when it helps us better understand ourselves, recognize life's cycles, and make wiser, more conscious choices. My intention is to provide a respectful, insightful, and supportive experience for every client.
1. PAYMENT & BOOKING
Payment is required to secure your appointment. My Calendly scheduling system processes payments via PayPal. I also accept Venmo (@Starduster-Services), Zelle ([email protected]), or I can email you a secure invoice for debit or credit card payments. If booking manually via Venmo, Zelle, or invoice, please email me your preferred available appointment time from Calendly, and I'll confirm your reservation as soon as possible.
2. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment are eligible for a full refund or may be rescheduled at no additional charge. Because each appointment time is reserved exclusively for you and often cannot be filled on short notice, cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment are non-refundable. Clients may request to reschedule with at least 24 hours notice, subject to availability.
3. LATE ARRIVALS & NO-SHOWS
A 15-minute grace period is provided for late arrivals. Clients who arrive within the 15-minute grace period are welcome to join the session; however, the session will still conclude at the originally scheduled ending time. If a client has not joined the session within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the appointment will be considered a no-show and will be forfeited without refund.
4. RECORDINGS
Zoom clients may record sessions directly to their own devices. If requested, I can provide a Zoom cloud recording link following the session. Clients are responsible for downloading recordings promptly, as cloud recordings are deleted periodically. Recordings are intended for personal use only unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. REQUIRED INFORMATION
Accurate birth data is requested for all readings, preferably from an official birth certificate or reliable family record. If your exact birth time is unknown, I can still provide a reading; however, certain techniques and time-based interpretations may be limited. For relationship readings, accurate birth times for both individuals are strongly recommended for the most comprehensive analysis.
6. PRE-SESSION QUESTIONS
If booking manually via email, please provide brief answers to the following:
1) What prompted you to request a reading at this time?
2) What would you most like to gain from your session with me?
3) What additional context would be relevant for my consideration?
7. PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY
All client information is kept strictly confidential, including birth data, charts, session content, recordings, emails, and any personal information shared during consultations. Your information will never be shared with third parties unless required by law. If a relationship reading involves two individuals and only one person attends the session, the other person's consent is required before interpreting their chart.
8. ASTROLOGY DISCLAIMER
Astrology readings are offered for educational, personal insight, and entertainment purposes. They are not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, psychological, ministerial, counseling, or any other licensed or certified professional services. Astrology is a symbolic language that offers insight into life's patterns, cycles, and potential opportunities. While every effort is made to provide thoughtful and accurate interpretations, no specific outcome can be guaranteed. Ultimately, all decisions and actions remain the sole responsibility of the client.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All written materials, recordings, reports, graphics, and original content provided by Starduster Services remain the intellectual property of Starduster Services unless otherwise agreed in writing. These materials are intended solely for your personal use and may not be reproduced, distributed, published, or used commercially without prior written permission.
10. RELEASE OF LIABILITY
By scheduling a reading, you acknowledge and agree that Starduster Services and Jim Seymour shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from your use of this website or participation in an astrology consultation. All services are provided "as is," without guarantees of any particular outcome or result.
11. REFUSAL OF SERVICE
I reserve the right to refuse service at my sole discretion. If I cancel a scheduled session for any reason, any payment received will be promptly refunded in full. Readings are available only to clients who are at least 18 years of age.
12. EUROPEAN UNION (EU) CLIENTS
If you reside in the European Union, certain consumer protection laws may apply to your booking. To comply with these requirements, Starduster Services provides an electronic "Withdraw Contract" option at the bottom of every page on this website. Any request submitted through that process will be reviewed and handled in accordance with applicable EU law. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit or waive any EU consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
13. AGREEMENT
If you have any questions about these Terms & Conditions, or encounter any unforeseen circumstances affecting your appointment, please contact me. I will always do my best to work with you fairly, compassionately, and in good faith. By booking a session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Starduster Services Terms & Conditions.
